I dont Know the answer to that either
Wait never mind its 15 i got it
Just a FYI servers only make 2:13 an hour! He should have left 20%.. It's hard to pay the bills with no money!
And FYI, this FML was from the UK, where it isn't customary to leave a tip. Instead, the food is more expensive and the extra money from this is what the waiters and waitresses get in their salary, as opposed to tips. The guy was actually pretty generous to leave them a tip in the first place.
Here we have a universal minimum wage of over £6. The waiter would be earning over £6/hour, approximately $10/hour, without pay rises, promotions or any bonuses and tips. The world is not limited to America.
Well at its nice he was paying for you, maths might not be his strong point and he was probably nervous aswell which doesn't help
that must've been a nice restaurant if a dinner for two is $100...
Wow, he buys you a $100 dinner and you complain that he's not good at math.
some people really are just that bad at math
I wouldnt be upset about his math skills. I would however be upset about the fact that 15% is not a good tip.... 20% at minimum.
Mabye he was paying American dollars
100$ for a meal that's a first date???

That isn't that bad. Atleast he wasn't making you pay :)
be glad someone spent $100 on a first date for you, when it's just a dinner.
