Today, I walked into Best Buy to buy a 42" widescreen TV I'd been saving up for many months. As I walked in, a man stopped me and handed me my wallet that I'd accidentally dropped. I thanked him. Five minutes later at the checkout, I opened up my wallet to realize it was empty. He had stolen everything. FML

So after losing your wallet you waited until you were at the cashier to check if all your cash was still there??

Uh... do you mean you were carrying all that money in cash? If it was a card then it wouldn't matter, he couldn't use it...

People who carry mountains of cash piss me off. I work in retail and I'm so sick of customers coming up to me and moaning that they lost $200 in the store and suddenly it's my fault they choose to carry a bunch of random bills under 10's to do their shopping.

Ya this story is fake, who the **** gives over a wallet after emptying it out? And its not a bad thing to have that much in cash, some mom & pa stores dont charge sales tax if you pay in cash.

Hope you start saving for another tv soon, they are cheap right now lol

That sucks! I also bought a Plasma 42'' inch HD Tv! IT costed 800$ for some reason. Next month I go through the aisle to check out some TV's out of boredom, the same TV now cost 1000 dollars. Luck maybe?
