Seriously, if you carry around that much cash, you should be really paranoid about your wallet.. You shouldn't lose it, and if you do, you should check immediately when you get it back..
Don't you have debit cars on USA?
I think the point was closer to that he no longer had the cash OR credit to buy the TV, as well as everything in his wallet was stolen. You are inferring he was paying with cash, and he said that his wallet was EMPTY, not just devoid of cash.
you're probably better off without the tv, anyway... go outside.
Who even uses cash??? Come onnnnnn. You would have had it on your debit card... if he stole that he couldn't use it anyway without your pin, you just would have had to go to the bank to get a new one. Seriously now.
#33/35... where do you live??? A debit card is just access to a chequing account or a savings account... you mean to tell me that if you have bad credit the bank won't take your money? What?
Ok. Some people are really stupid (#33). You get a debit card when you open a bank account. It is your access key to that bank account. You get bad credit rating when you have a credit card and don't pay your bills on time, or can't pay at all. When you have a bad credit rating, you can't take out loans with the bank or you can't finance. Depends on the company. The money hungry fools in the US decided to give loans to people with bad credit ratings, as a strategy to gain lots of money. It blew up in their faces, hence the stock market crash in Fall '08 and that kick start to the current economic recession. Get your story straight before you start making rude comments about this poor man who lost his money. Next time, if you ever drop your wallet and someone picks it up, or someone takes it to look through it (sometimes friends do this, who knows why) check and make sure everything is in there. Common sense. Never carry around more than 100$ cash, if you must. If you don't have a credit card and need to buy something big, use your debit card, and put your cash into your bank account. If you lost credit cards, cancel them, and the companies will send you new ones. If you lost your debit card, contact the bank asap and they'll tell you what to do.
You actually CARRIED that sort of cash around? Sorry, that totally sucks, but you had it coming.
That's why you check if it's all in there before he leaves. If it's not, kick him in the balls and grab him by the throat and say "Where's my money man?". Then punch him in the face. Repeat asking and punching as needed till he answers..... or passes out.

So after losing your wallet you waited until you were at the cashier to check if all your cash was still there??
Uh... do you mean you were carrying all that money in cash? If it was a card then it wouldn't matter, he couldn't use it...
