Today, my mother resolved to never visit McDonald's again. Not because of ethics or health concerns, but because they charged her for extra barbecue sauce. She bitched out the man in the drive-through for a good five minutes, while I sat awkwardly in the passenger's seat. FML

Same thing different taste

Today, my mom was "that" customer at the local drive-thru. She slipped into attention whore mode and bitched the guy out for not giving us extra fries. He said she didn't ask for any, which was true. Instead of apologizing, she swore at him and floored the gas, sending our drinks spilling all over me. FML

Today, I went to my favorite restaurant with my mother. The food took a little longer than usual to arrive and my mom threw a fit, complete with kicking and screaming, in the middle of the restaurant. My mom and I are both banned for life. FML

Today, while working at McDonald's, a woman returned to the drive thru because her fries weren't hot enough. She was so angry about coming back that she threw her cold fries at me through the window and told me to "choke on them." FML

Today, as usual, I worked at McDonald's. Although I tried to diffuse the situation, an old man was absolutely furious, and punched me in the face over BBQ sauce. FML

Today, my mom admitted that the only reason she took me out for lunch was because she felt guilty over going on a massive shopping spree for my sister while I was forced to stay home alone. I thanked her for the Wendy's meal anyway. FML

Today, my vegan step-mom found out I ate at McDonald's yesterday. She gave me hell and asked me how it feels to give money to "murderers". All while my dad sat quietly by because he's too whipped to speak his mind. It wasn't even her house a month ago. FML

Today, McDonalds charged me 21 cents for a honey mustard packet. The jerk manager made me break a $50 bill. So I grabbed all their napkins, carried them into the parking lot and tossed them all into the air in protest and drove off. Down the road, I realized I left my wallet at the counter. FML

Today, while at my job, a couple became angry with me because I charged them for an extra ranch they'd ordered, as I'm supposed to. When I explained how it says in the menu how any additional sauces are an extra charge, she said nastily, "That's okay, we'll just take it out of your tip". FML

Today, I was sitting in McDonald's. A lady came up to me and started complaining about the bad service, and asked for the manager. I told her that I didn't work there. "But you must, someone that fat has to work here!" FML

Well they have changed their sauce policy for a while now. and it's a win win for ya. no more really bad food and you got a free mcdonalds argument show.

Hey sauce doesn't grow on trees! If it was given for free then people would take advantage of it. Although at the Mcdonalds I worked at, and every other one I've been to, you can get packets of tomato sauce (ketchup for you Americans) for free, but you have to pay for any other kind of sauce. Kind of weird, but oh well.

Ketchup is a hell of a lot cheaper, especially in those bulk boxes of little packets, than the sauces are. Plus ketchup is much easier to replace if they run out since you can pick up those ketchup packet boxes at any wholesale store such as Costco and Sam's club. The sauces have to be ordered.

Agreed. Been at McDs for 4 years, manager for 2. Before I started I used to think smoking was the most disgusting thing a person could do. About a year and a half ago, jackasses like OP's mom stressed me to the point that I started smoking. Don't effing give me a hard time for something I have no control of just because you are too damn cheap to afford 10 cents.
