Today, my boyfriend left for a 2-year job posting in China. We had agreed to maintain a long-distance relationship, and even worked out a visiting schedule. Later that night, after trying to reach him, I realized the numbers he gave me weren't for China. The country code doesn't even exist. FML

Today, I went to my boyfriend's apartment to break up with him since he's always busy, and I haven't seen or spoke to him in almost 2 months. I arrived to find out from his landlord that he'd moved out 3 weeks ago, leaving a note saying that we were over. FML

Today, my boyfriend and I slept together. In the middle of the night, he saw my phone receiving a text from someone saying, "Hey baby, I missed you so much! I'm going to be visiting in a couple of days, hope to see you again, I love you!" He got mad and left my house. It was my dad in Ohio. FML

I believe the country code he gave you wasn't for China, but for the Friend Zone. I don't know why the Friend Zone has its own country code, it only has one number: 1-800-EAT-SHIT.

That is quite the lengthy scam he had going on which makes me think there is more than meets the eye. OP, are you stalker material or was he just a creative liar? If you're stalker material, maybe he felt he had to do what he did so you wouldn't go after him. Regardless, take the hint and move on.
