Report him! If that doesn't work, record one of his inappropriate lectures and start a petition to get him fired
Yes - good idea - or record one of these lecturers before you report him as evidence - it is almost certainly illegal what he is doing, discriminating.
Good idea #25. Record a lecture first then report him. That way he can't try to claim you misheard him.
I'm really worried that he may have tenure though and may not be fired. I've heard some horror stories of professors doing hardly short of murder and still maintaining employment.
Many people don't understand what tenure is. Tenure does not mean that the teacher/professor cannot be fired. All it does is guarantee the right to due process before termination. In other words, the teacher/professor cannot be fired without just cause and possibly a hearing. This sounds like just cause, especially if OP or other students can provide evidence.

Show it anywayActually he doesn't have the freedom to bring his own biased view and thoughts to class, he has to teach the class without biased, he can have those views but he cannot grade down and belittle a students work because of his own personal opinion it's wrong and unethical.
Like 22 said, it's perfectly fine for an educator to teach about religion and talk about its history etc... However, bringing their bias into the classroom and scoring work differently based on religious affiliation is illegal--at least, in my state it is.
It is actually discrimination and racism - if he'd said that stuff about say black people, it would be racism which is not okay even with freedom of speech. It is also racism here.
Even if you were right, the university also has the right to fire him for expressing those views in class though.
Report him!!!
yes, muslims, so ******* great. Muhammad preached the world does not rotate. hmmm so ******* smart. so many great advances. like what sharia lawy? disrespect toeards woman? killing all non muslims?
Report him, now. Don't wait.
Tell him you chose that topic because the topic "US Italian war heroes" only took your essay to 2 pages.
Report him and forget about him, 'cause people like that are so stubborn and ignorant that they'll always be stuck in their filthy ways. I'm so sorry you had to go through this, OP.
Because humans can be irrationally biased toward or against things they love or fear, respectively
Why do so many people hate on Muslims over the actions of a few individuals?
You mean the Liberal side? In Cologne, Germany Muslim men sexually assaulted women. Who was blamed by the Liberals? The women of course, since they were White.
Students have a ton of sway when it comes to getting the administrators to take action. Get some other students (and maybe even your parents) to help back you up and make sure you're heard. Schools are supposed to be all inclusive and tolerating, which is why it's unacceptable for the teachers to push their agendas on their students. Whether it be atheist, Christian, racist or sexist ideals, those need to stay at home, and not in the classroom

Report him to the department chair. Even if he has tenure, things like that can get it revoked. There's no need to treat people that way.
your teacher is a piece of crap, op. so sorry you had to go through that. report that ****** imediately
