Team building over a cliff

Today, my company held another team building event, and it's annoying. It was third event for this month only. I like having fun, but we keep losing clients and revenue. Our boss knows this, but she keeps encouraging us to "find our energy and channel it into productivity." Next week, we're going to a beach. FML

When you see the company circling the drain in a death spiral and they do stupid things instead of addressing the problems - It’s time to find another job… Company loyalty is important, but you also need to save yourself. Don’t badmouth anyone, don’t tell anyone at work, just get that resume out there.

You're on a sinking ship. Get your resume ready and enjoy the silly missions before it all goes ****-up.

It sounds like she’s building exhaustion instead of the team, when she needs to use her time to build the business

Find your energy indeed, but channel it into clandestine job search. No need to create ruckus, or tell anyone. Time for pastures greener where they actually do the sales.
