Today, I was using a restroom with automatic sinks and toilets. I assumed the paper towel dispensers were automatic too. I stood there waving my hands like an idiot before a girl walked in, pulled a lever, and made paper towels come out for me. FML

Look on the bright side, you didn't have to touch that dirty lever. (I'm a tad bit of a germ freak when it comes to hand washing and even needs a paper towel to open the restroom door)

Agreed. I hate restrooms that make it hard for you to exit without handling something dirty. It just feels weird to wash your hand and then grab the filthy door handle. Most restrooms do not have the trashbin by the door, so when you use the paper towel in your hand to open the door, you now have to carry the paper towel around.

Nope, I just drop it by the door. Call me a litter bug but soon they'll learn to get a better trash can location for persons such as myself. (: I'm just kidding. I'll search for a trash can on the other side of the door. They're usually not hard to find.(:

you understand that everyone who touches that side of the door has washed their hands. bathroom germaphobes annoy me. you are not going to catch anything from a public bathroom unless its really skeavy and if it is then dont go. you have a lot more to worry about fron office keyboards.

51- Wow, you must think highly of the human race. You think everyone washes their hand after they go to the washroom?? Think again! I heard something like 1 in 6 people don't. That's enough reason for me to be a bit germaphobic in a public washroom. I don't touch the taps or the door handle without using a paper towel.

The irony if the situation is that you want a paper towel so you do not have to touch the lever, but you have to touch the lever to get the paper towel.

i have never seen anyone leave the bathroom without washing their hands. even if one person didnt how many germs do you actually think you are going to pick up? you come into contact with far dirtier things in your everyday life that you don't even think about and yet everyone pitches a fit about thr bathroom door.

Once you use one of these automatic things, it almost becomes annoying to do it manually again. Once you've tried that thing that takes your dick out, aims it, shakes it off and puts it away, you don't want to do that by hand anymore.

this happens to everyone. try going into the public restrooms in a really busy place, people are confused about the paper towels/soap all the time.

I never understood why that is, having automatic faucets and even automatic soap dispensers, but skimp out on the paper towels or hand dryers, and vice versa. I mean, if you're going to spend money on something, you may as well spend money on it, y'know?
