They could have been polite about it, everyone makes spelling mistakes all the time, so people need to stop acting like they are perfect.
She didn't even make a mistake. The word is deliberately misspelled in the title.
didn't they spell "you" wrong? lol *******.
Yes post a pic of the book and then dump the retards from your life!
The last 3 words of this FML, more often than not, unfortunately, I agree with, even without the rest of the FML.
Is that how it's spelled on the cover, really? 0.o
As was mentioned in most of the comments here, yes. Try Googling it if you want to find out why exactly it's spelled "Sematary" - it's not because Stephen King is illiterate.
I'm just wondering why you even posted this to begin with, let alone the fact that people are overreacting to a small spelling error...
I've had a similar situation before (although nobody went as far as to stop talking to me... that's just insane). It was hilarious when I posted a link to the Amazon page with the book cover on it. They all looked so damn stupid.

Better to rid yourself of fickle friends now than when it can really hurt you!
Point out to them that it's the correct spelling. I'd like to see their reactions.
