This is just silly. At about mid-thigh, you can tell whether or not a pair of jeans is going to fit. Why would you continue trying to get them on or even contemplate buying such uncomfortable jeans after it got to the mid-thigh point? YDI all the way.
It seems like the jeans were so small any other person would have been able to tell they won't fit even before lifting the garment up to put it on. She's got no excuse.

First of all, it is probably against the store's policy for a guy to help a customer remove their pants if they area girl, whether they're your boyfriend or not. It doesn't matter. There are such things as sexual harassment and proper ethics in the workplace. Second, the OP never stated that the manager was male. The manager very well could have been female. Either way, it would be embarrassing to require someone's assistance because you got stuck in a pair of jeans, thus making it an FML whether the manager was male or female.
Why didn't your boyfriend help take it off?
