Today, I was texting a girl I like. Every message she sent came ten minutes after I sent her a message. When I told her, "I've to go", she responded almost instantly with an, "OK, bye." FML

Maybe if you worked up the balls to talk to her in person instead of being an impersonal **** and just doing it via text, it might have a better outcome for you. That, or she just doesn't like you.

I understand maybe having a quick texting conversation, but who texts that they have to go? That's what you do when you're talking online and then leaving your computer. We pretty much take our phones everywhere. Besides, sounds like you were doing all the conversation and she was just responding.

I'm surprised it took this long to get here. The girl might be keen on OP but not very witty. It might take her 10 whole minutes to come up with "lolz, srsly" while "ttyl" is an auto-reply. Or I agree with others that she might have a life. I have taken hours and even days to get back to texts. Unless there's a reason you can't talk, call./

This is either a sign that you're reading too much into texting, or just take the hint and move on. Don't be a creeper and if she's into you, she'll contact you. I suggest you don't try again. It sucks, but hey...rejection is part of life.

"FML the girl I like has a life". Texts take ages for what could be a 10 minute conversation on the phone. I almost never reply instantly to texts, and if it's going to be a conversation I'd rather just talk on the phone. Don't read too much into the fact that she wasn't a keen texter, if you get on well with her in Real Life that's what actually counts.

10 whole minutes?! OMGAZ THE WHOLE WORLD IS ENDING COZ THE TEXT IS SOOO SLOWW!!! It takes me 10 minutes to write a text out properly with full sentences in it and want to think out what I'm going to say fully.Plus, hat's if I'm not doing anything else. The other text was instant because all she had to do was text 'o k , b y e x' Basically, get over it. It's no big deal. You sound way too obsessive.

Having no life is a lot less depressing than you might thinkk.. Most of the people i know with "friends" and stuff are quite depressed half the time.. I have quite a happy life, though i never talk to anyone in real lifee. :( :)
