People literally need to get over themselves. A 5 year old isn't trying to dictate a grocery store, nor does she have any idea what she looks like she's doing.

Well if it bothers you so much, do something. Take her aside and help her learn the wave properly or convince her that she should only wave in the car like they do in parades. I realize that kids will be kids and she doesn't know what she's doing, but she won't get better at it without help. I'd hate for someone to be mean to her because of her innocent mistake. Better to help her practice the correct technique now before she gets used to doing it the "wrong" way.

Draw a little moustache on her.

You are her parent. So be one and educate her the correct way to do the princess wave. She may be to young to understand why her salute looks wrong but it's much better you change her style now before someone takes offense to it and decides to teach her instead.

just pretend shes not ur daughter and grab her out of the store and start shopping somewhere else ??
