Maybe you can Google him and get his actual birth certificate so you'll know his exact age. That project will certainly get an A+! Assuming, of course, the project was an age-finding one. Otherwise, you will all get F-'s and restraining orders.
Frankly I have mixed feelings about group projects in general… (1) Most of us wind up spending most of our working careers working on a team, and rarely do we get to pick our team mates. So learning to work effectively within a group or team is an important life and career skill… (2) When we are unequally teamed up with slackers it either causes everyone to suffer or the good workers wind up having to do most of the work. If you are a good worker and you’re stuck with slackers and goof-off’s on your team that’s really annoying… I suggest quietly and individually speaking to your teacher about what’s going on with in your team. At best they may make accommodations on your individual grade, at worst your teammates could feel you ratted them out. Even in work you sometimes have to deal with this. A good boss or a good teacher will keep abreast of what’s going on and who is pulling their share of the load and who not - But unfortunately not all of them are good bosses or teachers.
Ugh, group projects are the worst, especially when you're stuck working with inadequate morons.
