What the fhell's with this retarded "Yeah way to show 'em" option, why does this even exist? Screw that, the writer was being dense and couldn't think roses in the water isn't at least a bit unusual and warrants you figuring out where it came from before playing flower gir fun time at someone's funeral. YDI.
I think the worst part, rather than that she picked them up, was that she started ripping them apart and throwing the pieces. I think it is her fault for just assuming it was okay. Of course the funeral planners' probably should have picked somewhere more private, but they probably didn't think some stupid girl would pick up the roses and tear them up...
YDI. You shouldn't tear up things that aren't yours.
In my opinion, this isn't even a valid FML. All the OP got was several dirty looks and a few grudges placed on her back... But this WAS a FML to the dead person, or rather a FMFuneral/FMDeath. And it would've gone something like this: "Today, I had my funeral on a beautiful beach with all my loved ones. When they dedicated roses to me by tossing them into the water from a boat, this idiot girl who was fooling around with her friends jumped into the water and plucked all the petals from *my* roses, and in an attempt to be funny, flung them playfully at her friends. My funeral was ruined. FMD." Who would tear up pretty flowers anyways? NOT cool :'(
Lol, **** My Death. Win.
FML?? How does this constitute a FML? You're probably one of those idiotic North American girls who live in vanity and live in their own little world, totally disaffected from anything not relating to you. Next time, use your head.
wow, it was a public place, I mean how could she have known, they could have been from anything, it IS a public beach. The people could have picked a quieter place, calmer beach, or better time to do a funeral then when a bunch of people were going to be swimming on a beach. They could have also went out much further then anywhere near where they could actually have been able to see the people on the beach. I wouldn't want my ashes or anything thrown out where the people at my funeral could see it washing up on a beach with people swimming and shit. Bad planning all around, they might as well have thrown it into a swimming pool or in a public park on the playground.

I can't blame you for picking up the roses. I might have done the same thing. I didn't know that people still do boat funerals.
