Today, a couple of mates and me have a reservation on this fancy restaurant to celebrate Chinese New Year. I found out that 80% of our money goes to the wine tasting event that they have, a free flow of gorgeous, decent wine all around. I'm allergic to fruit. I'll stick to my 20RMB water bottle. FML

#6: Vitamin supplements. OP: That sucks. Hopefully you can find some wines not made from fruit; they should have told you where the money was going before you paid.

you people are dumb as hell...all wine is made from fruit...mead isnt wine, its MEAD...wine is what you get when you ferment fruit in its own juices...get a ******* dictionary

it's not ridiculous...I'm allergic to fruit as well...mines called Oral Allergy Syndrome...it's all fruit and veg...wines are generally ok though, because it's fermented, but ciders I tend to have a lot of problems with. People can be allergic to almost anything. But yeah, they should have told you. It's like spending all your money on a meat feast when you're a vegetarian. They should have told you.

Really that's crazy that you are allergic to all fruits and veggies. I'm assuming you have to take a lot of supplements then.

me, actually. i'm allergic to both citric acid and vitamin c. i eat fruit anyway, though; my reaction is really quite mild, luckily.
