Today, a customer came into McDonalds and placed his order. He insisted on putting each coin on the counter rather than handing them straight to me, because he doesn't like touching "poor people". FML

Did you touch him by punching him in his face ?

This has happened to me too... People can be very petty.

Uncalled for defiantly. Don't understand when people frown upon those that serve food. A job is a job at the end of the day.

And they should be happy that people are making and serving the food because I'm pretty sure they don't want to do it themselves. It's like they want the food but they disapprove of the people making it...so how are they expecting to get this food without those people?

It's like when people want sex, but they shame the people they have sex with. It's just being plain ol' spoiled and stupid.

If you see the need to point it out then you've failed, good sir.

I really hate self righteous idiots like this man. He does realize that if all McDonald employees quit he wouldn't be getting his five pound quarter pounder with a coke on the side. Can't ask for a service then treat service people like crap.

Is that a quarter-pounder with extra meat on it? Just call it a "Royale with Cheese" since the customer is feeling rich. Oh, wait, this FML isn't from France.

Ah yes. His logic is outstanding. Buy food at a restaurant where your food is prepared by poor people and you are served by poor people but you do not want the poor people to touch you. Yes, customer person, you are the reason so many of us poor people despise customer service.

Well he's probably poor because he's using Jew change ffs

Little did he know that "the poor people" are the ones in contact with his food.

And he has now just insulted those people making his food. Not a smart idea.

He was probably the poor one because he was using coin change to pay for a MEAL.

I would just be like "enjoy your food" hit the (ask me button) tell the person on table that it doesn't mean anything, but when he checks his recite he will be concerned what you did to his sandwhich. The recite will read "a double cheese burger ask me"

I don't understand what you're saying. Maybe it's my headache that makes it difficult..

Working at Mcdonalds, I know that when someone wants to change something about the sandwhich that isn't common such as a different bun or add a certain sause. there is an "Ask me button" the person working on table (perpairing the food) has to ask the cashier what the ask me is before making the sandwhich. It also shows up on the recite. So if he ever looks at the recite he will be worried and wonder why it says "ask me" under his sandwhich.

for the love of god, *receipt*

no one even pays attention to the "ask me" on their order. I've only been questioned about it a couple times in my 3 years of working there. but I would have been very tempted to say they wanted extra everything (ketchup, onions, etc.) or something equally gross.

Ya, I'm pretty sure customers are unaware of this "ask me" thing. I've had many McDonald's meals over the years but never heard of/seen this thing.

i work at mcdonalds, & i've never heard of it either. even unusual things generally goes through the register for me, & if it doesnt, we tell the ones making the burgers. it isnt their job to ask.

well did you use the sanitizer before touching the coin.. people who dont treat others well are real poor minded ppl..sorry OP

say "good because I don't like touching assholes"
