Not very nice of him! You were only being considerate towards him, you don't get very many who waste their time being nice.
Next time talk like a dubbed Godzilla movie..
Asshole level = expert There is no connecting with people these days. You attempted to show respect that apparently he did deserve. Good for you, but next time maybe some universal "sign language" is due his way (not at work of course).
Meh, **** him. It's not as if people in the service industry don't normally introduce themselves before they help you even if they're wearing a nametag anyway. It was his own damn fault he felt affronted.
i do commend you on being nice, however he is deaf not dumb. just saying.
A+ for effort ! At least you made an attempt to introduce yourself and let him know you can do sign language and will help him if he needs anything ! I have noticed a lot of people with disabilities ignore our help and are rude towards us when we are being nice because they believe we "feel bad for them"
I've studied sign language for over 10 years. Get used to it.... Just because you know sign does not mean Deaf ppl care...
Lol imagine if he wasnt deaf. That would just be Awkward.
