JRech tells us more.
OP here. It's a FML to me because, I'm not ashamed of being a gamer, I feel that it's just a pretty dorky situation. I totally was caught off guard when the site gave this entry the green light. I just thought it would be funny to share. A bit of background though, #155 is completely right, it's only been like 4 years.

i agree with #6, FHL for not having a better job by now
#214, in 1994. The ESRB requires people who buy M-Rated titles to be 17 or older (and AO titles to be 18+). Anyone younger needs to have their parent's consent. Countries/states don't have to enforce this law but last I heard, a lot of countries/states do enforce it especially after what happened to that 15 year old kid and the whole Call of Duty shebang. I could be wrong about not having to enforce this law though... since it's a law.
Well, on the bright side at least your still young and not a 30+ something striking up a conversation with the clerk on how you logged 200 hours on Fallout 3, I ******* hate gamestop cause they always try to offer you crap you don't want and there's always some doosher going on about some game with the clerk and it takes forever to buy one thing.
Jesus Christ, SO WHAT? You've stayed honest to your likes and hobbies. "OMG I'M A LOSER BECAUSE A GAME SALESMAN WATCHED ME GROW UP." Why does everyone seem to think that being a gamer means being a loser? I've been a gamer all my life and landed an overseas job in the game industry. Loser my ass, your life is not ******, own up to what you like.
thts pretty cool man. u shud ask him whether or not u can get a discount coz i mean, u guys are tight rite lol??

That's more of FHL. He's been working at a game store for all those years. Atleast you had an excuse, you liked playing video games. Not all kids are into going out and playing sports etc.
i don't gets whats bad about that... so the guy who works at the store knows you, it's a mark of a good salesperson
