OP here. It's a FML to me because, I'm not ashamed of being a gamer, I feel that it's just a pretty dorky situation. I totally was caught off guard when the site gave this entry the green light. I just thought it would be funny to share. A bit of background though, #155 is completely right, it's only been like 4 years.

I work at EB and all my co-workers have been there from between 2 years - 4 years. Everyone goes to college except for me since I'm still in highschool. It doesn't mean that they have no life, it means they're getting an education for a better career. They can obviously go for another job, but it's fun working in Gamestop/EB. OP, I don't see how this is an FML. At least you didn't have to show ID. Most teenagers I've ID'd freak out and start swearing.
idk which is worse...the fact that u were in there enough for him to know u from 0-18 yrs...or that he has worked there and never moved for 18 yrs
So what? It's not as bad as the fact that that guy's been working there for that long.
******* cry about it kid. You play video games, don't hide it you closet gamer

That's more of FHL. He's been working at a game store for all those years. Atleast you had an excuse, you liked playing video games. Not all kids are into going out and playing sports etc.
i don't gets whats bad about that... so the guy who works at the store knows you, it's a mark of a good salesperson
