JRech tells us more.
OP here. It's a FML to me because, I'm not ashamed of being a gamer, I feel that it's just a pretty dorky situation. I totally was caught off guard when the site gave this entry the green light. I just thought it would be funny to share. A bit of background though, #155 is completely right, it's only been like 4 years.

You go in there often enough for a clerk to recognise you and know your age but you didn't recognise him and know he knows your age?
#209, why? if he likes his job, why should he not stay there? don't be ignorant and judgmental
I'm still hoping for a 'So what?' option.
They ask people for ID? LOL WUT. It's a video game, not a gallon of whiskey. If this is in some hick state full of inbred pigfuckers, I feel bad for you. If it isn't, then I really feel bad for you. Since when do you need a photo ID to buy a video game?
You BOTH are losers. You go to a greedy game store your entire life, and he worked there for as long as you went. That has to suck.
Seriously? This isn't FML worthy at all. Personally, I think it's awesome. But then again, I'm a gamer girl, so I'm kind of biased. Haha. I kind of agree with 208 on this one though... How could you not recognize the store clerk? He knew you by sight and age, but you didn't even recognize him? That's kind of lame on your part.

That's more of FHL. He's been working at a game store for all those years. Atleast you had an excuse, you liked playing video games. Not all kids are into going out and playing sports etc.
i don't gets whats bad about that... so the guy who works at the store knows you, it's a mark of a good salesperson
