Today, a woman came into my work and yelled at me because no one told her the cake she had bought the week before was made of ice cream. She'd hidden it in the cupboard and it melted. I work in Dairy Queen. FML

Today, while working at Dairy Queen, a customer asked me what was so special about our ice cream cakes, and how they're different from regular cakes. I chuckled, and told her it's because they're made from ice cream. She threw a fit, which resulted in me being written up and sent home early. FML

Today, at work, a customer cried because the cake I made her was not "exactly" the same as the display. I'm the one who made the display and it was the same but the display cake had faded a bit, since it had been there for a month. I'd mentioned this to the customer when she placed the order. FML

Today, a coworker left a chocolate cake on the "free food" table in the office. I had a slice. She's just called to ask if she left her grandmother's birthday cake at work. She made it from scratch. Now I'm baking a new cake in the office kitchen. FML

Today, I was at the bakery I work at. A man came in to pick up a cake he said he ordered, but we could find neither the cake nor the order form. He yelled at me about being 'incompetent' before remembering that he had ordered the cake from a different bakery. FML

Today, I was called stupid by a customer, after I supposedly got his order wrong. He then threw his ice cream cone on the floor, tracked it around the store, and left. While I was cleaning it up, he came back and tripped me right into the mop water, spilling it everywhere. FML

I work at a dq too... we tell ever customer that buys a cake to make sure they freeze it, some people laugh and ask why we say that. Then I tell them about this guy who brought a cake for his wife. He wanted to suprise her and hid it under the bed. I bet she loved it when he pulled it out and it was melted. We even have people ask if they should keep it the fridge, umm noo it will melt in there to.

I work at DQ as well, we had 1/2 price cakes on the 1st tuesday of every month, so naturally we have every one and thier mother comming in and getting a cake that day, a lady came in and said she didnt want an ice cream cake cause it was a 45 min drive homeand it would melt in the car, and the DQ by her house isnt half price. and 3 of us had to explain, seperately, that we dont make normal cakes, nor do we have the means to make one, then she INSISTED that we charge her at our store and then pay the store by her house for the cake so she could pick it up there but pay for it here, after being told that was impossible she called me, and my boss retarded and dropped the cake she was holding on the ground and stormed out
