I hate running into teachers during your adulthood. Especially if they end up mistaking you for the kid who sat next to you, causing trouble all the time, while you were the good kid. It's all the same to them.

wow she must really hate you because she remembers you when i was in 6th grade i went to my old elementary school to do something i had to do and said hi to my old teacher she didnt remember me ,but she remembered my step sister that didnt even go to the school. i was confused lol

Wow... f-your teacher's life for holding a grudge for so long... She didn't even care to give you the benefit of doubt. Anyway, it was probably a good chance for the OP to make up for the OP's bad behavior by acting grown up (unless OP didnt..)

I work with kids and honestly it's always the ones that give you hell that you remember the most... ;) On the other hand if you were a decent kid then I have no idea what her problem is! Anyway this isn't really a FML! who cares what she thinks?? You're all grown now aren't you?

Could be worse. My fifth grade teacher was a nutcase who thrived on bullying a single kid into depression out of every year that passed through her class and she chose me. I was depressed for a decade after she turned every kid in my class against me by punishing the entire class for all of my errors and convincing my parents that the whole thing was all just in my imagination; used to suffer humiliation all day from my teacher, poundings after class by the students and my parents ignoring the whole thing as melodrama once I got home. Two years later she showed up at one of my friend's parent's social events and acted like she missed me and we were best friends. I swear to god I almost stabbed her in the heart. Next year she tried to pull the same crap on my little brother and my folks finally realized that I wasn't just crazy. She still kept teaching there for another 5 years after that because the Australian education system is just that desperate for teachers.

I agree with you there. I hate the public system. Many more teachers are willing to work in the private system. I, luckily, haven't had any crazy teachers (yet), still got 2 more years to go then it's off to where ever I want to go.
