Today, after a sleepless night, I fell asleep at my work desk. When I awoke, I found my co-workers had duct taped me to my chair. I was yelling at them to untape me, when our boss came in, scolded me for fucking about on the job, and left without saying a word to my colleagues. FML

You're at a desk, just use scissors or a letter opener to get free from the tape. Then after work, meet your coworkers in the parking lot with duct tape and wheely chairs and push them out into traffic. >:)

Well, honestly, you kind of deserve being reprimanded for falling asleep on the job. If you knew you were in the position to fall asleep, your best bet would have been to call in sick, if possible.

Depends on the job. I can usually get 2 or 3 hours of broken sleep at mine if I need it, because I work rotating 12 hour shifts doing extremely draining work. The company would rather we be well rested and alert when working since its a shitty environment with A LOT of mobile equipment being operated.
