Today, after a snowstorm my son decided that boarding off the roof onto my truck would be fun. My truck now has a puncture wound. The same truck that drove him to the hospital for his puncture wound and broken arm. FML
I agree, your life sucks 20 900

Depending on the age of the son, I think it's time he starts clearing drives to earn money to pay for said truck

And I've just realised seconds after the edit timer expired that he's not going to be able to do that with a broken arm is he... Nonetheless he should pay for the damage if he's old enough

I hope he got that on video for Fail Army.

The broken arm is bad, but he's very lucky he didn't fall on his head or something, sorry to hear what happened OP

"My son broke his arm and is seriously injured, but oh no my truck got damaged, poor truck." Where are your priorities???

That's not really what the FML said, but okay.

He broke his arm because he was being stupid, he's not seriously injured. His arm will heal but he'll have to pay out thousands (possibly) to fix his truck. I would say that if his priorities was about his truck then they would be right on

So, basically, screw the son because of material damage? Again, where are your priorities? Money, or the well-being of your goddamned family?

If my son is ******* dumb enough to board off of my house into a car, and he broke his arm, hear he ****** deserved it, while he will naturally heal (while in a cast I have to pay for), I have to spend money to fix his mistake so yes my priorities are on money, especially when that car will help pay for his cast by taking me to work.

Great job dumbass. **** your kids life, OP.

You know, my hockey coach told me something yesterday that I think might be applicable here. He said that whatever I do, rule number 1 is "DON'T DO STUPID SHIT!" Rule number 2 is "Remember that I told NOT TO DO STUPID SHIT!" Words of wisdom folks

Make him pay for it. Even if he's young if he gets an allowance he pays for it out of his allowance. If he's a teen he gets a job to pay for it.
