Today, after breaking up with my boyfriend of 2 years, I was backing out of his driveway when he came running out yelling "STOP!" I thought he wanted to make up so I kept going, until I'd run over his dog. FML

You seriously deserve this... F his life for being broken up with and having his dog run over in one day.

What if a kid was there?! Anytime someone waves their arms frantically and yells stop while you are driving, you should probably stop. And poor dog :(

I don't understand all these people saying that it's not OP's fault. For all the people who are saying it's the owners fault for letting the dog out; I don't know if your pets just don't have any freedom to roam, although there is such thing as having gates, where WOAH would you guess? You can open the gate to drive out but you can actually LOCK it when you don't need to use it. Amazing invention, right? This poor dog was probably just laying down with a bone or something or the sorts, not really caring about anything else, when suddenly a car runs over its back leg. I mean, dogs aren't superhuman, some specific breeds can be harsher of hearing than others, and some frogs just don't get up regardless of what's going on in front of them. This dog is probably used to cars avoiding it or not being anywhere near cars at all. Don't assume the ex is a bad owner and the dog had gone undisciplined it's whole life. Some people need to grow up and act more mature. You can't treat an ANIMAL as you'd treat a human. It probably didn't expect to get crushed by a moving vehicle.
