Today, after finally seeing a psychologist about the death of my dad and spending the longest hour of my life confessing every thought I've experienced in the 6 years since his passing, my psychologist asked me if I was walking home or if my dad would be picking me up. FML

A lot of people are quick to put down the psychologist, but it could have been on purpose to see what kind of response it provoked, after all that is part of their job.

Exactly 30! Doing something like that on purpose would only open a painful wound instead of trying to help heal it.

Wow OP. I'm sorry about your loss. I hope you can find someone who will actually listen and can help you.

Lets face it that's a trolling win by the psychologist, even though its terribly insensitive.

I don't understand how that's a win? Death of a parent is not, by any means, a game!

What an idiot!! I'm sorry for your loss and hope you will find a good psychologist - since you obviously have to dump this one and not pay the bill.

Not a very good psychologist obviously...

Your psychologist needs a psychologist, sorry about your dad...

sorry for your loss...but i bet it was just a slip up he/she probably felt like giving himself a kick in the butt.....regardless...that was very unprofessional
