Today, after five months of working overtime and doing my own repairs around the house, such as patching my own roof to save money, I walk into my home office. I find my $2500, week old, top of the line laptop won't turn on because it's drenched in water. Apparently there's a leak in the roof. FML

If you're so poor, why aren't you getting the bottom-of-the-line computer? When I was broke, I had a POS no-name PC clone. Now, that I am working, I have the computer I want. Don't buy things you can't afford! And, BTW, YDI for fraudulently billing your clients for overtime when you were doing your own home repairs.

YDI, now your going to have to pay even more to fix the damage you did to the roof then you would of if you hired someone to repair it properly in the first place

Dang that is ridiculously expensive for a computer

YDI. Just get a cheaper laptop. You could've used the savings to pay someone to properly patch your roof up. I'm surprised you even have a top of the line laptop if you're trying so hard to save money...

Leave it to the professionals next time. Hope you got a warranty that covers water damage.
