Today, after leaving work at 10 pm, I took a shortcut to the highway. After getting lost, my GPS informed me that the service was unavailable and I should try back in an hour. This occurred moments before I ran out of gas. FML

You kind of deserve it. NEVER take a shortcut unless you're absolutely sure it will get you to where you're going. ALWAYS fill up on gas BEFORE you're in danger of running out. And if you own a GPS...freaking use it BEFORE you get lost!

Why would a GPS ask you to wait for an hour? Does it have a direct line to Houston, so it knows whenever they send some astronauts to realign those pesky satellites?
