*Insert generic divorce him line*. Seriously though, I hope he was joking around. Noone deserves to be spoken to like that!
He probably thought your bad disposition had to do with your appearance. Most people change their attitude when they start looking better..
That is so evil! You deserve better than that scumbag.
Screw him you deserve better obviously
You should NEVER lose weight for someone else. That's a perfect recipe for failure and regaining the weight (plus more, often). The only reasons to lose weight are for yourself and your health. The next thing you should lose is your asshole. I mean husband. No, I meant asshole.
He'll be sorry when other guys start looking your way!
Who the **** does that guy think he is? You shouldn't speak that way to your mortal enemy, no less a spouse. Sounds like you should never do anything "to please your husband" ever again.
Sounds like your man's being a bit of a jerk. You should comment on what he needs to improve, see how he feels then. If he does do it then tell him to work on his shitty attitude next. You should be proud for losing such a decent amount of weight!
Although that was rude of the husband, for all we know OP's personality did suck. People are so quick to always attack one person over the other, as if his insulting her somehow means she has a personality of gold, when that may not always be the case.
There's two things a man shouldn't complain about..his car and his wife..he chose them himself. No matter what kind of personality OP has, her husband knew what he's getting when he was marrying her, so he has no right to treat her that way, especially if she's trying to do things to satisfy him in the first place.
I don't care if she has the personality of cardboard he, presumably, knew her before they were married. Personality isn't like physical appearance that might change. He's an asshole. It'd be the equivalent of him shaving & her saying well that's great now if you could just make your dick bigger.

Apparently so does his.
He won't be acting that way when other heads start turning in your direction.
