OP here. Thank you so much for all your kind and supportive words. I seem to be emotional over everything lately. Thank goodness I have such a supportive husband. I know everything happens for a reason, and we will find the perfect crib. Obviously that one wasn't meant to be.

They didn't offer to sell you the floor model? Call back and complain and then offer to buy the crib at a discount.
It's sucks when ****** moan about nothing even remotely important
maybe eBay or craigslist that model crib. if you don't find it exactly maybe you'll find a better one. good luck and congratulations!
They can't put display crib away until corporate says they can. I know this because I work the baby department at Burlington and they can't sell the store model either it's not safe.

It will be fine. What are you naming her?
I think her name will be Nunya Biznez. It is a beautiful name, for both genders too.
Let us know when you find the perfect crib, but I do suggest getting a pack in play with a bassinet for the first year, it is so much easier. I don't know why, it just is. We (my husband and I) had our crib up right after our baby was born, but we didn't use it until he was able to stand up and walk.
You will have much disappointment in life if you believe everything happens for a reason.
Didn't make it, or didn't sell it anymore? Big difference. And if they don't sell it anymore, then its false advertising and they need to put a sign on said crib that says so, so pregnant-emotional ladies like yourself doesn't get your hopes up. I have two kids, a crib is just a crib. They are going to sleep in it. I recommend getting a 4-in-1 crib, that way when they grow out of the crib, you can convert it to a toddler bed, then to a child's bed, and after that turns into a headboard and footboard for older kids/teens. 180 dollars at walmart, and the only thing you'll have to buy over the years is mattresses and sheets. Best purchase anyone could ever make. Good luck! Oh, and they are easy to assemble.
To all those saying "take the floor model" or anything like that. It's not safe to take the floor model for cribs. There are strict safety measures with cribs and something that's been leaned on, pulled on, hit, scratched, kicked, punched, etc, etc in a store for months isn't in tip top shape and shouldn't be used to safely keep your child in.

Tell the manager that they should put away the crib if they don't still sell it.
Now that really sucks
