freakingout tells us more.
OP here, wow didn't expect it to make it on here ? Well so far no change, she even asked me are you sure it's not part of you, like how often does anybody know themselves there. What? I know myself very well there and it's not normal. Got an appointment with the gyno for next week so should be all good :) thought it was suspicious I got an appointment within half hour of ringing...

At least she is honest. It´s rare to find a doctor who admits he doesn't know.
Doctor's know the bad stuff. Hopefully this means it's just a weird vaginal quirk...?
Perhaps a gynaecologist wouldn't be a bad idea...
I hope it will go away. But this is the way the NHS works, so OP, keep an eye on it.
Maybe they will name it after you
In that case, I'm glad someone else figured out Crohn's disease.
Most likely it wasn't anything new or that the doctor hasn't seen before. Multiple things can present in the same ways and so the doctor would have no way of knowing specifically what it is just from a simple examination.
As a rule of thumb, if you have a lump where you shouldn't have a lump, it's not good.
Too bad House doesn't exist. more diagnostic minds out there in the world would be useful for this kind of stuff.
I doubt House would even take the case. He only took the interesting cases nobody else could figure out, I doubt one little lump would interest him, unless Cuddy gave him a year's worth of clinic hours.

Go see another doctor. While doctors can't know everything, it was still really stupid of her to tell you to just take antibiotics for a few weeks and "see how it goes".
Do you often get a lump in there?
