OP here, since so many of you have asked for a follow-up. My (now ex) boyfriend had been cheating on me with my (now ex) friend for the last three months. He asked for her help in picking out an engagement ring for me, which he ended up proposing to her with. It really hurts, but for now I am trying to focus on other things. Thank you for your support.

Aw, sorry OP. As someone else said though, cheer up, because your friend has a relationship full of him cheating on her to look forward to. If he was willing to cheat on you with her, then he's sure to find another woman to cheat on HER with.
