Today, after uprooting my life to help my boyfriend, I realized I receive more affection from my landlord's dog than I have from my boyfriend since I've moved here. FML

Hmmm. Was the dog a Siberian Husky?

omg so funny earlier fml so happy I saw that one!

it's offical 99% of Americans hate snickerdoodles! congrats snicker take your award

ydi that's why you don't go out with jerks

wow snick makes a comment and EVERYBODY critisizes

If you like the victim/martyr role, then that really works out for you.

If he was affectionate before the move.... FML. But most likely.. YDI. I'm guessing he didn't go from being overly clingly and affectionate to ignoring you overnight. And if you want some attention, have you tried making the first move? Or asking him to spend some time with you??

I'm sorry op, but I must agree with earlier comments about Ydi. You really should weigh your options before you uproot your life for a person. In a small way I will say Fyl because your dating an asshole. Find someone better for you.

Snick, I feel like, either way, it's a YDI. You just shouldn't uproot your entire life for someone else. Even though my boyfriend moved across the country to live with me, there were a lot of other factors. He definitely didn't do it completely for me. He did a lot of it for himself, as well. He visited here to see if he would like it, he got a job long before he ever moved, and he was already looking to move before I ever came along. The OP made the choice to uproot herself, and therefore needs to take responsibility for it. There were no guarantees that everything was going to be perfect and wonderful. It also sounds like maybe the move in was too soon. I know people who have had their relationships ruined by moving in too soon. :/
