Make them read/watch Interview with a Vampire. Louis and Lestat are the ultimate sexy vamps. (And I don't particularly find Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise to be particularly hot, but in that movie? Oh, yes.)

Make them? Why should he feel the need to force his interests on his kids? Let them like whatever they like. They don't have to be little clones of him. Besides, soon enough they'll move on to The Hunger Games or whatever new YA series pops up.
