Every time there's a post about bullying, someone in the comments insists that the solution is to fight the bully. Often, the commenter backs it up by saying it worked for them. But each bully, each victim, and each situation is different. Since the commenters seem to prefer anecdotal evidence, here

Don't let that phase you. Stand your ground

This reminds me of an incident from my childhood. The school Douchebag thought it would be funny to run up behind me and smack me over the back of the head with a plank of wood. I was given a detention and they called my mother as I sat in the detention room for exclaiming "What the F***!?" after he hit me. The teachers refused to believe that I had been attacked, even though I was so dizzy I couldn't stand upright. Bloody teachers, bunch of incompetent, whiny, lazy morons. For every good teacher who can actually teach and is fair in handling discipline; there's about 30 who bore the shit out of you and realise it's easier to punish the good student who did nothing wrong, that to try and go after the bully who's resistant to all forms of punishment.

Tell the teacher to give herself detention for stoping u standing up to a bully and tell her to **** off and shove the detention slip up her ass

That's the school system for you. They won't do shit about the bully but they'll punish the kid that defends themselves. It's ****** up.
