Today, and every other night since my new neighbors moved in two weeks ago, their cat has been standing outside my house meowing constantly up at my window, where my cat keeps standing and meowing back. It's like a feline version of Romeo and Juliet, and I can't sleep. FML

Today, my dog won't stop barking at his own shadow, my cat won't stop purring while kneading on me, and my new kitten won't stop squeaking. It's all very cute, but I can't sleep at all. FML

Today, as every day for the past three weeks, my girlfriend's cat kept us up from 3:30am crying nonstop. We've tried everything, and even exiled my well-behaved cat to keep him company. Now she cries because she feels she's being punished. Starting around 4am. FML

Today, my housemate's cat began meowing at 2:15am. After about 10 minutes of continuous caterwauling, it finally shut up. Almost immediately afterwards, a car with thumping bass music pulled up to idle in the street right outside my window. FML

Today, my cat has made a habit of waking me and my husband up every morning by meowing in front of our bedroom door until we get up. This morning, I finally got her to stop, so I went back to bed hoping to sleep in for a while… Only to be kept awake by my husband’s snoring. FML

Today, I was woken up by my roommates cat meowing so loudly at her door, wanting in. Suddenly it stopped. I was just falling back into sleep when I rolled over and the cat was right there beside my head. Meowing. FML

Well you can always have some fun, and let that one cat inside your home. Otherwise they have sprays that will keep cats away from areas you don't want them. Maybe you can give that a try? I know it works on small things, but you may need ear plugs.

As adorable as it is, I'd be out there with a squirt gun chasing the cat out of the yard, because sleep is sacred. Kitty can chat when there's daylight. At night he can go home.

It's cute! I would say, pull your cat back in and close the window if it bothers you that much. Then in the morning, go to your neighbors house and say "our cats have already become friends, so I thought I could come over and meet you guys" then tell them the cute story of your love-stricken felines. The cats are giving you an advantage to starting a friendly relationship with the new neighbors.
