Today, as a dentist, I was performing simple tooth extraction when I realized that the X-ray was flipped the wrong way the whole time. I had to lie to the patient that the tooth that I accidently extracted needed to go as well. FML

Moron, tell the patient what you did and if you get sued then it's your fault and just accept it. People pay for that shit, they deserve a refund and your screwed them over.

You have to be drilled into, you're a professional so you should have spotted the mistake beforehand. YDI.

sorry, but you definitely deserved that one. you don't make mistakes like that. ever. that is something an untrained person would do.

What you've done is ethically, professionally, and morally reprehensible. I'm a surgeon and I've made mistakes, but the key thing here is...are you listening? BEING HONEST, not lying to the patient like a ******* coward. I don't think I can ever remember being this angry at an FML, and I've been here a LONG time. Congratulations on being one of the worst people I've ever come across here, and I'm including Sirin and every1luvsboners.

Now I'm wondering what your mistakes were. I hope your patients are still fine and they were just minor mistakes. I'm glad that nothing bad can happen when I'd screw up my work.

All doctors make mistakes. We're human and it happens. But covering it up only compounds the problem.

Glad to know you're still around, Doc! After I read this my first thought was "jesus, if Doc was still on FML he'd be absolutely pissed."

wow so your life is ****** because you took the wrong tooth and then lied about it? how about **** your patients life who lost a healthy tooth and even has to pay for it -.-

That is a very unfortunate mistake. OP being a pro, should have spotted the error. Sincerely hope that there are no repercussions to your mistake..

Your own damn fault coward. Knowing dentists you probably charged them for the second extraction as well.

So because you screwed up, this person now has to pay for two extractions and two tooth implants or dentures? And you're just going to let that happen? **** your patients life. Really hope you get what you deserve for that one dude. That's ******.
