Hey! OP here! the cat actually was wrapped around the Serpentine belt! No.it did not survive, and my car is in the shop, being cleaned out with a new belt. Sad thing my son was in the car, he kept saying Mommy! what is it?! The cat has been lost, I actually hadn't drove my car for a couple of days so I'm not sure how long it was actually in there. I am surprised how.many people this has happened to, glad it wasnt just me!

When my parents were young in their relationship, they got a cat named TC (tough cat) because the pet store sold him too soon, and it just seemed to fit. Well, one day my dad started his car, and the same thing happened to him. When he took him to the vet (because he was still alive), they could have saved him but it would have costed a mountain of money, and at the time, my parents had none at all. So the cat was tough, but he couldn't defeat the circumstances.
That's one of the many reasons I don't approve of keeping "pets" outdoors. Cats love crawling into small, warm spaces. Your car is perfect for that. If you insisted on keeping the cat outside, you should have had the common sense to check all around (and inside) your car to make sure this shit doesn't happen.
How the **** was the cat gonna know what would happen? It's not OP's fault but you can't blame the cat either.
Well if the cats not dead I wouldnt worry too much
Haha. He was trying to keep warm. xD
Was the cat okay? How did he get in there...well if it was lost now it is found...
:O OMG most depressing FML everr, i almost cried, thats y my cats are INSIDE cats, way too dangerous, theres a baby kitten outside and it crawls onto the wheel of my moms van, good thing it doesnt work right now...
To quote Cousin Eddie from Christmas Vacation, "if that thing had 9 years, s/he just spent them all."
