I completely get using your mouth to just dab the q tip wet instead of fighting with the sink especially because I do the same thing to fix my eye liner. works better than water that just seems to smear it. Really gross that someone put it back in the box, hopefully that was a tired mistake and hopefully you don't live alone.

While I understand that you didn't know because they put it back where it came from, I don't think I've ever heard of people sticking them in their mouths to get it wet, is water not an option with makeup?

That's why I use water to get Q-tips wet. Also, who doesn't check the object they are about to use for anything wrong with them, even if it did come from a freshly opened package?
