That sucks and you're a dumbass and I don't blame her for blaming you. However, it is kind of pointless holding an obituary... the best kind of reminders of those lost, are all of the fun and enjoyable and memorable times you spent with them. An obituary does nothing, staring at it brings no happiness. Yet remembering the first time your grandma baked you cookies or made you soup, or you spent a time with her in the park, or helped her out with stuff- well, those are the kinds of reminders that are good for the soul and the memory and the spirit! Personally my grandma passed away awhile ago... it sucks =/ this reminded me of her. Oh well, she was a great woman, I have basically no doubt that she's in heaven right now, and I hope I see her someday. Solutions for your problem? Buy another copy of the magazine (find the date), or print that article out. You can usually find it online if you look hard enough, if you cant find the magazine somewhere.
Epic sensitivity fail
oh well....that was nice of you to try to do something to make her happy, but you should have payed attention to what you were doing. YDI
That sucks!!!

So, she specifically showed you where it was, and then instead of setting it aside, you went ahead and did destructive things with the paper without paying attention? Points for effort, but fail in the execution, dude!
This is quite possibly the dumbest female I've ever read. One, how did you accidentally make it into a hat? And two, it's just a piece of newspaper, it's not exactly hard to get another one...
