Today, at the Black Friday Sale, a fully grown man hit my 5 year old daughter for an Xbox. In anger, I punched the guy and gave him a bloody nose. I'm now banned from Best Buy, and my daughter has a concussion. FML

They are all disgusting savages. I'm so sorry for you and your daughter, OP.

I guess this is why where I live everyone has to stand in line and get a ticket for the item they want, instead of it being a free for all. And staples is better than Best Buy anyway, don't worry about being banned. You did the right thing.

If you can afford to go shopping on Black Friday you can afford a babysitter. When every year we hear reports of violence during Black Friday, why someone would take a small child is beyond me. Were the deals worth it?

That is why u never go to best buy on black Friday !

why the **** did you have a 5 year old at black friday? also, that guy is a dick. I would have punched him too.

Maybe he took his daughter because he was doing some of the shopping for her? Why is everyone bashing OP for having his daughter there? Bah. You should NOT have to live in a world where you can't safely take your kid to the store during some sale. And if there IS violence around, how the hell is it OP's fault? You should be able to trust people to behave like people, and if they don't then THEY are in the wrong. No ifs, ands, or buts. God. This is the other guy's fault, not OP's.

Did the bastard go to jail for it or did he get away free >(

Uncalled for joke: "He hit your daughter for an Xbox? What would he do for a Klondike Bar?" Stop harassing the OP about bringing his daughter when you don't know the context. He might be buying something for his daughter that she wanted to pick out, so he brought her. It really doesn't matter. The point is that a jerk slapped OP's daughter, and he responded in kind. I have a saying: 'Violence is the answer only when violence is the problem.' OP didn't do a thing to deserve it. He took his child to a Best Buy and his daughter was assaulted. The daughter didn't deserve it either. OP recognized a threat (this "threat" just GAVE HIS DAUGHTER A CONCUSSION) and reacted. He deserves more than a bloody nose. One thing does confuse me. Shouldn't there be at least a dozen witnesses who can vouch for the OP?
