Today, at work, I decided to make things more interesting, so when I called people I used a fake accent. As I was using an Australian accent, the person I was talking to asked me where in Australia I was from. I desperately replied, "Where the kangaroos are..." I'm now jobless. FML

A more common stereotype is the percentage of obese and overweight Americans. It is saddening, really. There are guns everywhere, legal or not. Most people know this and probably wouldn't stereotype us as "the place where the guns are."

That's a good point. I was just using it as an example. Whenever I see anything on the news about America, it's almost always something about gun control, so I could assume that all Americans own guns but it'd be ignorant of me.
