It's good to see people still don't know the difference between "I'm Scottish" and "I have Scottish heritage". No birth certificate? No passport? You're American.
I love you...! I was born and bred in Edinburgh and when I went to The Usa on holiday, some guy said in the broadest Texan accent that he was Scottish, I asked where he had been that he liked the most? He said he'd bearly left the state, nevermind the US... You're nae Scottish pal, yer American.
