Today, despite hints, suggestions, and even blatant criticism, my coworker refuses to believe he smells like rotten donkey nuts. He says he only needs to shower once a week, and that he doesn't believe in deodorant. I volunteered to do an extra autopsy today because the morgue smells better. FML

Fortunately since we are pathologists, we don't really have any direct patient contact. However we do have many surgeons coming down to the surgical pathology lab, not to mention the poor laboratory technologists who have to work around this guy ...

I don't understand people like this at all, hopefully he gets the hint eventually when he realises that a morgue literally smells better than he does

can't you ask a supervisor to speak with him? that sounds horrible

maybe do like we used to do in the military to people with poor hygiene. Spray them with a girly body spray every time you see them. overpowering cotton candy smell is better than b.o.

#34: No, over-showering only dries out your skin. Your environment will still have wayyy more germs, "contaminents," etc. than you could ever have on yourself to wash off, so being re-exposed to them is no problem.

I'm pretty sure you could take this to some kind of supervision because I'm pretty sure that violates some kind of hygiene policy. best of luck to you OP

that sucks op. I worked with a girl like this once.

Any dermatologist will tell you that you only need to shower once a week. But no deodorant? That sure stinks (lame pun intended)

he doesn't believe in deodorant? Like it doesn't exist? What a smelly a-hole. Pun intended

Report him to HR. This sounds like he is violating some major sanitation codes, ESPECIALLY if he is a pathologist. Has he ever heard of contamination? I really hope he doesn't work on any sort of criminal cases of with bodies carrying infectious diseases.

I've worked with clowns like that when I was a programmer. it got to the point where if they came to work smelling they would be sent home on the spot. That changed their behavior.

Ragnarok as in....Ragnarok from Soul Eater....?

Ragnarok as in the apocalyptic battle in Norse mythology ...
