Today, for Easter, my brother and sister both got $200 gifts from my parents. I got a chocolate egg. I'm allergic to chocolate. FML

HAHAHA wow that sucks. this is highly ironic. my best friend is allergic to chocolate and has a brother and sister who always get wayyy more stuff than she does. sorry though...that does suck.

i sympathize completely. i'm severely allergic to soy, and my parents make tofu or put soy sauce in our dinners almost every day.

#32, seriously. FYL for thinking you're first. "Today, I was on FML. I decided to comment one, thinking I would be first. I was #32. People made fun of me. FML." As for the OP, that sucks that you're allergic to chocolate :(

eeeeee sucks you're allergic to chocolate. Give the egg back to them and say "no thank you, you should have known I am allergic." Or even better, give the egg to your brother or sister in front of your parents and say "I think mum/dad might have missed something from your gift. Here you go." provided of course that they're not allergic to chocolate as well! If your parents are real parents, they'll feel bad. I have nothing against cheap gifts but everyone gets cheap gifts, if at all. Seriously.

Oh i feel ur pain. im allergic to chocos too. Presents are always chocolates. how lame

hhaahahah your parents want to kill you

Throw the chocolate at one of their faces, hopefully breaking their nose. Should get the point across. Or something like 148 said, but who does things the non-violent way? Totally boring.

youre probably too old for your parents to be giving you new toys.

#7, how does it go from money (when you don't need it because you're a little kid) to candy?

I would've ate the chocolate. Had an allergic reaction then make them pay over $200 for the hospital visit. What are they going to do, ground you for eating what they gave you?
