I LOVE a good double standard! reverse roles: today my bf told me to take it down a notch and be more like a bitch, then he told me to make him a dam sammich... who is the bad guy now?

So, women spend the last 40 years emasculating men and when they finally do it, what do they say "Man up!" As a group, women are complete idiots who don't know what they want, don't understand the concept of equality, are never satisfied, complain about everything, don't know how to communicate, and are hypocrites.

What does man up & act tougher mean anyway? Get into fights with random ppl in a bar? Work in a slaughterhouse? Drive like crazy & if a cop follows him get into one of those mad chases? I kno a girl who did something similar, anytime a guy (whom she didn't like) even looked at her, she'd provoke her bf to beat him up. He is now in prison, she has moved on to another guy.

this^^ I'd be careful about breaking up with him. the last overly sensitive guy I dated/broke up with needed the threat of a restraining order to leave me alone. he cried about that too. = but who knows, maybe it was just his time of the month and op said the wrong thing at the wrong time?

Actually many abusers are the guys the world sees as "wimps". Especially if their partner expresses a desire for them to "man up". They feel a need to prove their manhood and strength, but they are too cowardly to go head to head with another man so they turn their aggression on women.
