Today, I auditioned for a part in a play. I've been practicing for months, and was very excited. After I'd finished singing, the director whispered something to the other judges, and they all laughed. Hard. So much for the lead role. FML

It takes years of training to get good at singing. Then once you have a voice it would probably still take a couple months to learn the songs and nail the lead role. You might have underestimated this a little.

And then you stormed off stage all American Idol diva-style, yelling, "I'm so much better than these bitches! These judges don't know shit! Whatever! I'll be back next year!" Classy.

Or do it the more original way and try to sing another song with your beautiful voice while they try to tell you how awful you are.

ydi for being so horrible...f their lives for having to listen to you!

When I was 15, I auditioned for a minor part at the end of a play and ended up getting the lead.

I understand completely! I auditioned for a lead role last year in a musical... the director smiled at me the whole time... turns out that smile was really a smirk because she didn't like me.

The one part that bugs me is the whole "so much for the lead role". It makes you sound so uptight and overly prideful

lol they don't call it drama for nothing I guess!
