Today, I brought my boyfriend of 2 weeks home to meet my mom and she started talking about how she really wants a lot of grand-kids. He called 2 hours later and broke up with me. FML

Think about it: you could be spending quite some time with that family if the relationship lasts for a while. If the OP's mother is that psychotic, then I don't blame the boyfriend for wanting to get out as fast as possible.
