I've never understood why people get mortified when they find out things their parents and grandparents did when they were younger. More than just looks are passed down in a person's DNA; personality traits are, too. Odds are, if you enjoy doing something, they probably enjoyed doing something similar (technology available permitting, of course). Also, unless you were adopted or otherwise not living with the people you consider your parents, you're sort of a walking advertisement to the fact your parents got laid.
