Your neighbor is about the worst choice for a threesome partner I can think of. An incredible amount of emotional vulnerability is involved with sex, and there's a lot that can go wrong, even if the threesome goes right. Your folks now have to live with the consequences of that, or sell their house and move. Real good decision-makers there.
